For students interested in business administration, finance, administration, marketing, management information systems, supply chain management, accounting, agribusiness or economics. Located in downtown Fargo, Richard H. Barry Hall is home to the College of Business and the Department of Agricultural Business and Applied Economics. It has conference rooms, classrooms, an auditorium, teachers’ offices, study areas and a coffee area. ** Please note, the tour will begin at Ceres Hall on the main campus. Instructions and directions for travel will be provided at check-in.
For students interested in pursuing a career in nursing. The School of Nursing includes the following tracks: Pre-licensure BSN, LPN to BSN, and RN to BSN The mission of the School of Nursing is to advance the knowledge of nurses and develop strong nurse leaders who improve the health of all people, with an emphasis on underserved, rural, and diverse populations. The School of Nursing is located in Aldevaron Tower. Labs, classrooms and other student areas are visited during the tour. All tours begin at Ceres Hall with directions to Aldevaron Tower.
Part Time & Summer Jobs Fair
For students interested in agricultural and biosystems, social, computer, architectural, electrical, environmental, general, industrial, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering and computer science. Take a tour of the engineering facilities from a student and meet with a faculty member to talk more about our engineering major. All tours begin at Ceres Hall with a tour guide.
For students interested in art education, architecture, landscape design, graphic design, landscape architecture or visual arts. Meet faculty or staff and tour Renaissance Hall in downtown Fargo, showcasing our state-of-the-art facilities. Please note, admission to the Renaissance Hall tour will be held in Ceres Hall on the main campus. A tour schedule and directions will be provided when you check in for your campus tour.

Located in downtown Fargo, Richard H. Barry Hall is home to the College of Business and the Department of Agricultural Business and Applied Economics. Students interested in accounting, agribusiness, agricultural economics, business administration, economics, finance, management, management information systems, marketing or supply chain management can sign up for a guided tour of Barry Hall and meet with an academic advisor any weekday at 1 p.m. Afternoon
Group tours are available virtually or in person for middle school, high school and community college students and range in size from 10 to 200 students. The visit usually includes a tour of the campus and an admissions presentation. Student panels or other resource sessions may also be requested. Teams must include at least one chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones are expected to accompany the group at all times.
Due to the volume of groups we accept on campus and limited funding, we cannot assist with accommodation or travel expenses. Food assistance can be requested on your group visit form as needed and assessed on a case-by-case basis. Groups are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and require at least two weeks’ advance notice. Please note that all students require contact information prior to arriving on campus. The average campus visit is two hours. Admissions counselor meetings last 30-45 minutes and campus tours last about an hour.
Tours will also be canceled if classes are canceled and the university is closed. You will receive notice of cancellation as soon as possible.
Spring Career Expo
Dress casually when visiting campus. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and a jacket or umbrella is helpful in case of rain. Check today’s weather. If the temperature drops below zero, your tour will be changed to ensure your comfort.
Park on MU property as indicated on the campus map. Please do not park in areas designated by administrators or special permits. Be sure to show your parking pass.

Absolutely! Parents, guardians or visitors are always welcome on campus. When registering for your trip, please indicate how many guests will accompany you to campus.

When registering for your visit, you can indicate an interest in speaking with a representative from your course. Be sure to plan ahead – we require at least two weeks’ notice to request this appointment. We do our best to make arrangements through the door but we cannot guarantee it.

Absolutely! During the trip, you will see many of our restaurants. Stop by after your visit for a bite to eat. Visitors will be given a dining pass as part of their visit on all weekdays when the restaurants are open.
