Mini Calendar Ideas

Mini Calendar Ideas – A cute mini desk calendar with a pocket for sticky notes and a hole for mini pencils and pens.

This cute mini desk calendar was adapted from one of Anna Helman’s girlfriends. my dimensions are the same. Added a small “box” to hold mini pencils and pens. Without an additional pencil holder, pencils can easily fall to the bottom of your pocket and be difficult to retrieve without turning the calendar over.

I used her DSP from a stash of beautiful stockpiles. Don’t you love the beautiful paper from our Designer Series Stampin’ Ups? The hardest part about paper is deciding which side of the paper to use. Both sides of the paper are always beautiful. I also like how all the colors blend well with cardstock, ink, and other colors. Picking a background color for these cute calendars was so easy.

Ways To Fill An Advent Calendar

I made this as a gift for a customer. It didn’t take too long, so I was able to make a boatload in no time. One of the really cool things about her is that she only uses one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 inch cardboard (a small scrap there are several). Also, her DSP usage is very low, so her accumulated DSP stacks don’t deplete quickly. (I think you can see that in both the good and the bad. Hahaha)

Dimensions are: Cardstock – 3 3/4 x 10 1/2″, 4 3/4 x 7″, 2 1/2 x 2 1/4″ DSP – 3 1/2 x 3″, 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 inches.

Score 4, 8, 9, and 10 on long cardboard with the long side up. The long part constitutes the rack/stand part of the project.

Score 4 and 4 1/2 on the short cardboard with the long side up. Turn the piece counter-clockwise and score 1 1/2, then turn the piece 180 degrees and score 4 1/4. Then score 4 and 4 1/2 on the right with the long side up and score at 1 1/2 to the first horizontal score line. Then rotate the paper 180 degrees and do the same, but at the 5 1/2 mark and score only to the first horizontal line.

Score 1/2, 1, 1 and 1/2, 2 on a very small piece of cardboard with the short edge up. Apply tear tape to the small ends and polish the entire score. enter.

Then you can round the corners of three different pieces. To use the corner rounder on smaller pieces of cardstock, you’ll need to cut a small rectangular piece.

Advent Calendar: Day 9

I’ve used tear tape on all structural parts – parts that need strength to stand up or maintain movement. The liquid adhesive works to adhere to DSPs and other structural and moving parts .

We have combined all calendar months into one PDF file, so download one link and save it to your file. If you have trouble downloading, try using Google Chrome as your browser and check your security settings.

Once downloaded, you can print it on your computer or send it to a photo lab for printing. I usually print my 4 on one page, but it works as a full size page as well. If you print at a different size, be careful not to cut off important information. Heavy computer paper or card stock is recommended for printing. Trim the edges to size using a paper cutter.

Every printer is a little different, but here are some printing tips I use with my printers.
