Fsu Calendar Fall 2023 – Florida State’s 2020 football schedule, which features a neutral start to the season and six home games, was released Wednesday morning.
Their season opener is on September 5 against West Virginia in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game inside Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Florida State returns to the home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons for the second time in four seasons after facing Alabama in the 2017 season opener, the first collegiate game inside the stadium.

Florida’s first home game is next week when it hosts Samford on September 12. He then travels to Boise, Idaho to take on Boise State on September 19. The game will be FSU’s first game in Idaho State and one of the first games on Western sites to be played in the program’s history. The only games played further west of Boise are Florida State’s Rose Bowl appearance for the 2014 BCS National Championship Game and the 2015 College Football Playoff Semifinals, the Emerald Cole in 2006 in San Francisco, at USC in 1997, Pigskin Classic in 1991 at Anaheim Stadium and games at San Diego State in 1973 and 1977.

After their only open date of the season, they are on the road again to face North Carolina in Raleigh on October 3. Florida State will then begin a three-game home skid in four weeks when it hosts Clemson on Oct. 10 and wakes up. Forest on October 17. After an October 24 game in Louisville, FSU returns to Doak Campbell Stadium for a Halloween matchup against Pitt. Florida State begins the final month of the season in Miami on November 7. Boston College hosts Nov. 14 before a short week that ends with a Thursday game at Syracuse on Nov. 19. That game will be against Orange State, Florida. first regular season contest on Thursday after defeating Louisville on Oct. 30, 2014. As a result of their regular season against host Florida on Nov. 28.
